Hobbies

One of my hobbies is reading, which is something I encourage every student to pursue. I try and show each student how, no matter what they choose to study, finding time to read will increase their intelligence and aptitude for success. I absolutely love the outdoors and try and find as much time as possible to hike, camp, swim and fish. I enjoy politics, and even though I chose to pursue engineering after working in politics for a year and a half, I avidly follow politics and policy news. I play guitar, and I was in a blues band while earning my first bachelor's degree at the University of Mississippi.
