I have been teaching 7th grade for12 years. My experience ranges from teaching self contained special education classes to my current position as an English Language Arts co-teacher. I am qualified to teach K-12 (special education), and highly qualified in Reading and Math. I was on the English Language Arts curriculum writing committee for our district's most recently adopted curriculum. I am well versed in the expectations of the upcoming PARCC test. I feel like the standards for today's students are constantly on the rise and the pace and rigor can be overwhelming.
