I graduated from the Scripps School of Journalism and am pursuing a graduate degree in Biblical Studies at Cincinnati Christian University. Ultimately, I plan to obtain a PhD and become a professor. I am passionate about education, and particularly enjoy tutoring students in Writing and Reading. My own enjoyment of the subject matter allows me to make lessons fun and engaging for my students. Often, I find that students benefit from having their papers broken down into small pieces, so that they can tackle one section at a time without becoming overwhelmed. I also assist through tips for improving writing skills, and can also help students become better readers. In addition to Reading and Writing, the core areas in which I tutor include German, Literature, Grammar, Study Skills, and preparation for the Verbal, Reading, and Writing sections of the SAT, ACT, and PSAT. When I'm not working or engaged in my own studies, I like to hike in nature, travel, spend time with family and friends, and cook.
