I have a son with severe ADHD so I am versed in 10th and 11th grade subjects. (He graduated high school on time but it wasn't easy.) I have another son going into the 10th grade who scored 150 on the CoGAT and has been moving up from the 99th toward the 100th percentile steadily in math. He also is in the 99th percentile in other subjects. I would consider bringing him along if the child didn't mind and needed help in his areas of proficiency. I scored a 550 V, 600 M, and 640 Analytical on the SAT's. This was so long ago the tests have been re-normed many times but I think the important part here is that i have excellent analytical skills. I think I could come up with a way for the child to learn, even if I have to sit there for a minute on the answer.
