Since 1995, I have been tutoring on and off. I've worked across the United States and in Togo and Ghana. I am familiar with math, French, and accounting as they relate to my diverse professional background which includes work in banking, trading, and manufacturing. It is therefore easy for me to relate these subjects to real life which is a challenge for those still in school learning tough academic disciplines. I can teach algebra, pre-calculus, statistics, and general arithmetic to build a base on which students can build on, so they can do well in math later on.Passionate about anything, this gives me a lot of energy while tutoring and I can try several different angles to get the message across. I am a patient, compassionate tutor able to work with teenagers, young adults, and adult learners as well. Education and real life experience help make me a great tutor because I not only can teach the work, but why it matters in the overall context of succeeding and finding the right job. I was once a student at Wilmington College and now live in Cincinnati, Ohio. My favorite interests outside work and tutoring include basketball, soccer, tennis, and scrabble.
