I received a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education (PreK-3) and Special Education (K-age 21) at Cedarville University. I received a Masters of Education in Literacy and Learning in the Content Areas at Walden University.

Experience

I have been working with children in a one-on-one setting periodically since I was 15. I am currently a special education teacher at Springfield City Schools. I enjoy working with students in a one-on-one setting because I can tailor activities and topics to their particular needs.

I play a variety of musical instruments (piano, violin, and guitar are my main instruments), many forms of sewing and crafting, online gaming, and reading. The majority of my reading has been wholesome literature published prior to 1920. My interests in reading tend to be more academic than fiction. But, I do enjoy an excellent fiction on occasion.
